We take your feedback seriously.
We want to create a community where everyone feels included, safe, and welcome to share their opinions. Everyone, regardless of race, sex, gender, political alignment or personal opinion of sensitive topics, should be able to interact with everyone else in the community without fear of being judged or harassed. This means that even if you do not fundamentally agree with someone's opinions, you can still be amicable to them.
This community is first and foremost a mature group, and we expect every player to Be Good, Be Fair, and Be Courteous.

Global Rules
Keep in mind that the breaking of any of the below rules will result in a warning, and in severe cases, a temp-ban. Time heals all wounds.
We do not issue warnings or bans without reason, and all moderation action will be clearly communicated to you.
Ready? Go!
1. This is our house.
We love having you over, but since this is our house, you have to follow house rules. If you don't like that, you don't need to be in our house.
2. Be chill to each other. (Keep all discussions civil)
There will be a lot of discussion and chatting on the group and in the server, and that's okay. We will inevitably talk about topics that people will feel very strongly about, and feel the need to defend their stance passionately. But for discussions to be healthy and active, we need to always keep in mind to criticize ideas, and not people.
Avoid things like: name-calling, ad hominem attacks, responding to a post's tone instead of its actual content, knee-jerk reactions
Comments and posts that we find hateful, inflammatory or harassing will be removed from the Discord server or hidden on DeviantART.
Remember the golden rule--treat others the way you'd like to be treated.
3. Strive to add value to every interaction and discussion you participate in.
The chat channels may move very quickly if there's an active discussion, or player submissions to the group may be particularly amazing. Before you comment, ask yourself if the comment you're making will contribute to the discussion or if it will make the artist/writer feel good about their work. Make sure your comment is on-topic and in the correct channel or journal. Basically... Don't spam! (Btw telling an artist that their art looks great contributes to their work and is on-topic!)
4. Flaunt your stuff, moderately! (Self-promotion is allowed as long as it isn't spammed)
We love to see players share their commissions, YCHs, designs, art streams and other media. But please, be courteous to the other players and keep your advertising frequency low so that it's not getting in the way of discussion.

Deviantart & General art rules
5. Remember the shrimp. (Reference your art, not trace)
Tracing may help you learn and it can help you practice techniques from your favourite artist, but the moment you post it as yours, you're stealing. So instead, reference. Learn to analyze another artist or draw from life. The point is to hone your observation skills and to learn how to draw without relying on memory.
6. You must be invited by an active member to join.
This is to ensure that the group is closely knit and that new members are recommended in by previously approved members. We are aiming to keep a high level of maturity and art/literature standards within the group. People that purchase designs for use in the group can bypass this, but we will be closely monitoring fresh players to ensure that they're not going to break rule 2.
7. One account only.
Because we are enforcing character limits, you are not allowed to join the group on another DeviantArt account. Every person is allowed 3 free characters to start (nyaga, native race or original character), and more slots can be bought with our in-game currency. NPC characters that do not use the Potential system are free to make always, and allowed within the gallery, but they will not be able to participate in any of the group mechanics.
8. Garbage in, garbage out. (Low effort submissions to the group will be removed)
The nature of the ARPG is to draw a lot to progress your character, and I know it's tempting to just draw a bunch to rack up lots of EXP real quick. But if your submissions are of low quality, or if moderators know you are being sloppy with your work, the submissions will be removed and EXP removed from your character. Trust me, it's very easy to tell when someone's been rushing through their art when compared to other pieces in their gallery.
9. All Roravi and Nyaga designs purchased have their own terms and conditions.
It is HIGHLY encouraged that before you purchase one of these species designs that you understand fully how you may use them. Please triple check the descriptions for their terms of service from the original creators and their conditions.

- 6a. We better not catch you bugging an active member for invites, 'cuz you ain't getting one if we do.
- 6b. Active members are not allowed to "sell" or trade their invites in any way. They may give them freely to anyone they think will enjoy the group.

Discord & bot rules
10. Only use commands listed on this site. (Do not exploit commands or bugs)
The Discord bot is very experimental for what I had in mind for the group, and as such has various commands that I do not intend for the group to use. You are only allowed to use the commands that are listed on the Discord Silvers Economy page, so please check it carefully. If you type in a command and get it wrong, that's okay! But the bot will give you an error message that sometimes will give away commands that should not be used. Do not use those commands, stick to the ones available on the page linked. If we catching you using a command not on the list, we will issue warnings.
11. Strictly NO chatting in the channels under the COMMAND category. (Strictly!! Really Strict!)
The purpose of the command channels such as #inventory, #shop and #bank is to keep bot command clutter out of the main chats and for moderators have a clear, unobstructed view of all commands. If people are chatting in there, mods will be unable to see whether or not someone may be cheating or if someone has used a command that's not allowed. Worst still, a mod may miss a !use command and someone will not have their item properly logged, causing problems for group mechanics.
12. Do not delete your messages. (They're logged anyway)
If you make a typo or mistake, please edit your messages instead of deleting them. Even if you make a command mistake, that's okay--just retype the command on the next message. This will make moderating a lot easier if anything happens. If you get into a debate with someone and someone starts deleting messages, they are logged in a hidden admin channel, so we see all deleted messages.

We try our best to inform everyone if we edit or add to our rules, so please keep an eye out for if there's a journal/discord announcement about rules updates. We reserve the right to change our rules at any time (our house!).
