The Quicksilver Mercantile and Adventurer's Guild Company is a large, widespread network of houses that offer goods and services to all that pass their doors. Merchants, Adventurers and common folk alike use the services of the guild, whether that is requesting a task or items, or fulfilling these tasks. Lately, there has been an increased need for Adventurers to dispatch and take down bandits and beasts, and as such Quicksilver has been bustling with life to train and provide incentives for these new, bright eyed recruits.
At Crown of Septima, when your character is registered on the official Registry, they will be allowed to undertake tasks at their convenience for the sake of the guild. All characters, whether they are Roravi, Nyaga, Human, or even a summoned character from another world will be allowed to earn the special goods from drawing and creating for these prompts. Quest artwork will allow your registered characters to gain EXP and Rep for yourself.

Job Quests (Seasonal/Persistent Prompts)
Job quests are harder quests that require your adventurer to let their true potential shine. These harrowing tasks have a chance of failure, if your character's potential rating is not high enough! These rolls are done in REAL TIME by YOU, the player, and rolled publicly on our Discord for all the excitement!
At the beginning of every season, there will be an updated journal detailing the new Job Quests and associated sub-quests, what rank and difficulty they are, and the minimum potential rating your character must be at before they can take the quest. Be very sure that your character meets the difficulty check, or else your efforts may be wasted. Artwork featuring characters that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted into the Job Quest gallery, so therefore you will not be able to do a roll for it.
The final Job Quest deviation's description must have the following before they’re accepted to the folder:

The final Job Quest deviation's description must have the following before they’re accepted to the folder:
- Clearly labeled quest name (or possibly link to quest journal) — Does not need to be the title of the deviation!
- Links to all related Subquest artwork
- Link to character’s tracker deviation (the character that is actually doing the quest)
Subquests (Optional)
Some quests are part of a longer, involved set of quests called a quest chain. A Job Quest may be a chain with smaller subquests leading up to the final submission artwork. By doing extra artwork based on the subquest prompts, your character can gain bonus potential rating for that specific quest only (as a reward for doing the necessary prep work). This makes it easier for them to pass the final quest!
All subquest artwork is to be submitted to the Daily Lives folder. All details about subquests and the bonus PR they give will be in the Job Quest journal. If you choose not to do the subquests, your character will rely on their own PR and equipment to pass the quest.

Roll Success and Failure
All Job Quests end in a dice roll of a 20 sided dice (d20). Depending on the difficulty of the quest and how high your character's potential rating is, the number you roll will determine the success or failure of the quest. A moderator will check your character's PR against the quest difficulty and inform you if your character has succeeded in the #rolling channel. Please wait after every roll for a moderator to respond with the outcome of the quest before doing any rerolls or item uses!
A successful roll grants fantastic rewards! On top of the 50 EXP for the final artwork submission, a successful roll grants bonus EXP for the character that completed the quest. If you succeed the roll on your first try, or if you roll a 20 on any roll attempt (critical success), your character will gain a special bonus item as part of their success: the elusive Shiramine's Tear item. The prizes you get are determined by the difficulty of the quest.
A failed roll means that your character has failed in their quest... But all is not lost! The character may roll again after a mod has confirmed the failed roll for a second try. If luck is not in their favour even a second time, you may purchase and use a Saving Throw item to retry the roll again. If you roll a 1 (critical failure), you MUST purchase a Saving Throw and use it to attempt the roll again.

This is what it may look like on Discord (if your character has any equipment that degrades (has a limited amount of uses), please also note it in your message before you roll!):
Tier Advancement Quests
For a character to surpass their skill tier, they must undergo a special quest called a Tier Advancement Quest. Each Discipline has their own special quests, and each one must be cleared for that specific set of skills to be unlocked for learning. Luckily, the guild offers special tests by their finest instructors—if your character can pass the exam, they will rank up to the next skill tier, and also be allowed to take even harder Job Quests!
The guild will also issue a special curio showing your prowess in that discipline. With that badge (curio), you can apply higher tier items to your character, such as Tier II and III Impedimenta orbs and much more. This curio will appear on your character's Masterlist account profile and is proof that they have passed an advancement exam.
These exams are issued bi-monthly, and are quite strict. Bring your best equipment and items to the exam! The instructors also only have a set amount of time every week for these exams, and as such, there are sign-ups for each exam. Be sure to claim your slot quick.
Rules for success/failure rolls and the Saving Throw items also apply in this quest (without the extra EXP). One character can only take one exam per bi-monthly block.

Raid Quests (Collab prompt)
Raid quests are special tasks that require a group of 4 or less to undertake. These quests are challenging, and too dangerous for 1 person to attempt on their own. It is highly recommended that 4 characters all tackle this challenge together!
These rare quests will appear every once in a while, and the call for adventurers will be made by the Quicksilver Guild. Register your party and coordinate with your members to fulfill all the requirements of the raid quest!
The minimum Potential Rating for this arduous task will be much higher than normal. This is because the potential rating of every character in the party will be added together to create a Group Potential Rating. Please ensure that your characters meet the minimum, otherwise it may be very difficult to succeed!
Rules for success/failure rolls and the Saving Throw items also apply in this quest.

Expeditions (Randomized Prompt)
Expeditions are a large scale quests that last for a defined period of time, they are usually part of the main story quests or can be standalone and put up during events. This unique kind of quest does not have a set prompt on its own, but rather a list of prompts that is predetermined from the outcome of a player's dice roll. Multiple dices may sometimes be utilized, this is varied from expedition to expedition. Due to the random nature of the rolls, the prompts are never quite the same every time and it can be rather exciting and spontaneous. Expeditions award EXP as well as your character is going on an adventure into the unknown. Venturing into the risks of danger can sometimes yield rewards that are far beyond what anyone can expect...
An expedition completes when the time for it has ended, and based on the number of submissions in it, it can register as a pass (should the quota be met) or fail for the whole expedition on its own. The outcome of the expedition may or not influence the route of the main story quests or can even open new pathways into new, uncharted areas for even more expedition quests. It is highly recommended that both players new and old take part in expedition quests as much as possible.
